
Originally built in the 17th century, Château Lagarosse is located in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, where centuries ago, the Romans first grew vines in Bordeaux. The Château’s old world architecture houses a newly renovated, state-of-the-art winery and cellar.

Château Lagarosse “Les Comtes ”

Vinification : Composed of the vineyard’s finest lots, “Les Comtes” was cold soaked for 21 to 28 days and pumped over frequently in order to maximize color, complexity and character. The individual lots were fermented first in temperature controlled tanks before being racked to the most exclusive cooperage for up to 18 months of aging.

Vinification : Meticulous green harvesting and leaf removal produced grapes of exquisite intensity and complexity. The individual lots were cold soaked for up to 15 days with frequent pump overs to extract optimal character and color. The individual lots were kept separate throughout fermentation, which began in thermo-regulated tanks and finished in a mix of 1/3 new and 2/3 one-year-old barrels.
