The Wine
Château Roylland

Vinification :  Grapes were harvested at peek ripeness and sorted by hand in the vineyard and cellar before undergoing 45 days of maceration, with carefully monitored pump overs to extract optimal balance of color, flavor and tannin. The lots were kept separate throughout fermentation in small thermo-regulated vats before being barreled down in 50% new oak barrels for 12 to 18 months of aging.

Alcohol : 13.5% Case Production : 3,500
Tasting Notes :  This is deeply colored and complex wine showing alluring fruit flavors and artful balance. Lovely black cherry and spice on the nose give way to harmonious interplay between succulent fruit and elegant tannins, all of which carry through on the long graceful finish.
